Mama Mary Anyango Okal (Nyar Jura) 1942 - 2002
"YOUR ARE ALWAYS IN OUR MIND WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH"
Today 15/05/2008 marks six years since the passing on of our beloved mother. Mama passed away peacefully around midnight in the presence of her last three sons, her cowife and some of our friends and family this day in 2002. Most gratitude goes to one of our greatest friend Mr. Chris Akun Goro who was present and was at that time helping rush her to the hospital in Kisumu. Mum had been suffering from cancer of the oesophagus which had debilitated her for the last year of her life. It was sad for us to see her withering away from a healthy mum to a thin and wasted mum. As we mark this day it is our prayer as a family to the Almighty to grant you eternal life with him. Mum had single handedly raised her six boys from 1981 when we saddenly lost our beloved dad from a tragedy on lake Victoria. Thanks to her great work we have all grown up to be responsible people in our familes and community. Last August we sadly lost our elder brother Amos Okal. Eternal peace grant unto them Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them, may they rest in peace Amen.
